aespa vs NewJeans vs IVE

aespa, NewJeans and IVE are the three girl groups that defined the early 2020s in K-pop, and their fandoms have been arguing about who owns the era since day one. This cup turns that argument into a bracket: 46 songs, three groups, one winner.

Each group brings its full title-track run plus the deep cuts that fans actually stream. aespa's side goes from Black Mamba and Next Level through Spicy, Drama, Supernova and Whiplash, and includes B-sides like Girls, Dreams Come True and Life's Too Short. NewJeans' side covers Attention, Hype Boy, Ditto, OMG, Super Shy, ETA, How Sweet and Supernatural, with Cookie, Hurt, Zero and Bubble Gum. IVE's side runs from ELEVEN and LOVE DIVE to After LIKE, I AM, Baddie, HEYA, REBEL HEART and XOXZ, plus collaborations like Supernova Love with David Guetta.

Because the groups debuted within two years of each other and often promoted at the same time, most of these matchups are rematches of actual chart weeks. The ranking page will tell you which group's catalog holds up best when the whole world votes.
